ABOUT ME

My journey with yoga began many years ago, long before I fully understood its power to transform not just the body,
but the heart and mind.

Yoga entered my life while I was still living in an abusive relationship. It became my anchor, a quiet and steady space where I could reconnect with myself and begin the long process of healing. When I eventually stepped into my yoga teacher training, it became a turning point, giving me the courage and clarity I needed to rebuild my life and step into freedom.

Living with fibromyalgia has also shaped my path, teaching me to honour gentleness, embrace rest and listen more deeply to the body’s needs. These experiences have profoundly shaped how I understand yoga, not simply as a physical practice, but as a way of cultivating presence, self-compassion and the capacity to meet life’s challenges with grace.

My understanding of yoga continues to evolve just as I continue to rise. It is a reflection of the spirit behind Haseya - Rising Together.

Yoga has gifted me with flexibility, strength and the courage to live with greater fearlessness both on and off the mat. It reminds me every day to be more present, more mindful and more compassionate with myself and with others. I will always be a student, grateful for the guidance and inspiration my teachers have shared with me.

In my classes, I blend creative sequencing with a grounded, playful spirit, guiding you to explore your own potential with care and curiosity. My approach invites you to listen deeply to your body, honour its needs and move in a way that feels both nourishing and empowering. Meditation and chanting are woven throughout, offering space to quiet the mind and open the heart.

Whether you are seeking strength, stillness or simply a moment to breathe, my intention is that each class leaves you feeling nourished, restored and more deeply connected, not just to your practice, but to the deeper strength and quiet wisdom within.

Here is to a journey of strength, softness and coming home to yourself.
